Copper Characteristics/Natural Patina
Patina: Many artists find this a desirable Characteristic, and often attempt to speed up the process through various applications of chemicals, organics and various other recipes. This coloring is naturally caused by natural oxidation and weathering. Patina is a coating of various chemical compounds such as oxides or carbonates formed on the surface of metal during exposure to the elements. The green patina that forms naturally on copper and bronze is known as verdigris and consists of copper carbonate. Artists and metalworkers often deliberately add patinas as a part of the original design and decoration of art and furniture, or to simulate antiquity in newly-made objects. Patinas are restricted to exposed surfaces and helps to protect the metal against further corrosion as well as adding natural beauty.

Warranty
We stand behind the workmanship of these wonderful pieces with a full one year warranty on workmanship. Should any product find workmanship defect with in one year, return it or repair or replacement. The term “workmanship” does not include abuse, neglect, incidental damage or normal wear from use as these are not with in our control.
