about the artist charles

Charles McConkie III became interested in creating remarkable water patterns using simple copper materials in the early 1990s. His first forays were simple geometric figures; during these ventures, he concentrated on learning how water patterns are created and the effectiveness of different designs.

Over the years, Charles has shifted to creating realistic-looking copper flora. In all efforts, “function with form” is at the heart of his creations. Each fountain and sprinkler is beautifully assembled to create an original water sculpture that will add elegance to any garden or home.
